The World Cinema Foundation Global Fund invites you allows anyone around the world to contribute to the WCF's major film restoration projects. Using the WCF web site, participants you can make a donation.
Thise site will show upcoming film restoration projects, restorations-in-progress, and downloadable versions of restored films, which participants can purchase to view. Contributors can witness the progress of film restoration and continue to donate towards the films of their preference or to the fund in general.
Regardless of the amount you decide to donated, these contributors you become part of the larger WCF mission and are called a "friends" of the WCF. Through this egalitarian opportunity, the WCF forms an international community in the name of film patrimony at an accessible entry level.
This expanding group of "friends" also becomes a "street-level" mouthpiece for the WCF's efforts, raising awareness about film preservation and generating interest in restored masterpieces.
